We don’t expect you to care about our new site and new direction as much as we do — but the reasons behind it all are super-relevant to all SMEs out there. Even you.
This isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade – it reflects the monumental shifts both within our agency and the broader digital marketing landscape.
A NEW ERA
A decade ago, the tools and strategies we employed were cutting-edge. In 2017, when our first site was born, SEO was starting to shift, with more focus on trusted brands and less on keywords. Web design was heavily grid-based with minimalistic UI. Digital experiences were somewhat predictable, and everyone was vying for the top spot on Google with more or less the same toolkit.
Fast forward to the present, and it’s an entirely different ball game. Web designs now prioritise user experience and are heavily influenced by AI and dynamic content adaptation. SEO isn’t just about keywords and link building anymore; it’s about topics, intent, user experience, and a myriad of other factors. Similarly, our agency has experienced its fair share of metamorphosis.
You might remember us by different guises, or perhaps even by the faces that once represented us. Like a tree shedding its leaves to make way for the new, we too have undergone a management transformation. This has been a golden opportunity for introspection, re-evaluating our mission, resetting our values and laying the foundation for our future.
The changes we’ve made in the past few months were driven by a desire to excel and to be the go to digital marketing agency for SMEs. It is our mission to put you first, and help UK businesses establish a strong online presence and excel in their respective industries and be found in their respective business locations, both local and nationally.
What has remained consistent is our commitment to making meaningful impact through the synergy of a passionate, and talented team. We are fostering our growth by offering encouragement, assistance, training, and conference prospects to every member of staff.
WE WANT TO BUILD THIS STORY IN PUBLIC
Ever hear about the chef who’s too busy to cook for their own family? It feels a bit like that when it’s time to build your own website. Here’s the challenge:
- We’re our own harshest critics.
- Taking a bold new direction always carries risks.
- Being your own client can sometimes cloud judgement.
- Ambition can sometimes lead to analysis paralysis.
We’ve launched our new website, not as a final product, but as a starting point. Instead of holding fire and chasing perfection, we’re sharing it now, embracing our philosophy of continuous improvement and growth. Think of it as a living blueprint, one that will constantly evolve and adapt, serving as the foundation for building our renewed vision and long-term aspirations.
And for our fellow SMEs reading this, we feel there’s an essential lesson within our journey: Evolution is Imperative.
We operate in an era where change is the only constant. Whether these shifts emerge from within your company’s walls or are prompted by industry revolutions, they are undeniable. And in the digital age, your website isn’t just a mere online brochure; it’s an embodiment of your brand’s ethos, a reflection of its journey, and most importantly, a marker of the times. If your website feels like a relic from a bygone era, there’s a high chance that everything – from your brand message to the underlying mechanics and fundamentals – is lagging behind.
Stay tuned to our socials as we’ll be revealing the insights and inspirations behind our revamped approach, including:
- How a placeholder image became a key part of our brand narrative.
- The architecture and execution of our web strategy.
- Lessons learned from past campaigns and their influence on our current direction.
Meanwhile, explore our space, and don’t hesitate to point out any rough edges. Crafting this has been a joy for our entire team, and we’re thrilled to have you witness the ongoing evolution of our brand in real-time.
